Social media platforms Facebook and Whatsapp are to be shut down on mobile internet.
No decision has been made on broadband services, and sources within various ISPs have confirmed that they have received no directives regarding internet access as of now.
This will be the second time the internet has been restricted since the student protests began early last month.
