‘No more politics of vengeance’: Khaleda Zia in first public speech in 6 years
“We have to create a united Bangladesh from the ruins of a dismantled democracy,” the former prime minister also said while virtually addressing BNP rally in Nayapaltan this afternoon.

In her first public address since 2018, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia called for an end to the ‘politics of vengeance’.
“Let’s create a Bangladesh of love and peace,” the former prime minister said while virtually addressing a BNP rally in Nayapaltan this afternoon (7 August).
She also expressed gratitude to all ‘brave children’ who made it possible for her to speak.
