22 more deputy secretaries become joint secretaries

Twenty-two more deputy secretaries and officials of equivalent rank have been promoted to the position of joint secretaries.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard today (18 August).
According to the notification, the promotion of the newly appointed joint secretaries will be effective from the date they acquired the eligibility for the post and subsequently from the date a junior officer overtook them.
Additionally, they will be eligible to receive the arrears of financial benefits.
The notification stated that the newly promoted joint secretaries can directly submit their joining letters to the senior secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, or via email.
On 18 August, 201 deputy secretaries were promoted to the post of joint secretaries, and on 13 August, 117 officials were promoted to the post of deputy secretaries.
