Around 250 tourists have become stranded in Sajek after continuous rainfall for six days, alongside landslides, flooded a number of roads.

Vehicular movement has been stopped on the Khagrachari-Sajek Road.

Several places, including Kabakhali in Dighinala, Baghaihat and Machalong in Rangamati have become submerged.

Although water levels fell in some places, other areas experienced a rise.
