Three additional DIGs sent on forced retirement


According to an office order from the Ministry of Home Affairs, they will be entitled to all admissible retirement benefits.

The government has sent three members of the BCS (Police) cadre on forced retirement.

They are: Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Atiqul Islam, who was serving at the Police Headquarters in Dhaka, Md Asaduzzaman, Deputy Inspector General and Additional Commissioner, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Md Anwar Hossain, additional inspector general of police headquarters.

According to an office order from the Ministry of Home Affairs, they will be entitled to all admissible retirement benefits.

The trio had been missing from the office for the last couple of days.

The retirement is effective immediately.
