Hajj registration from 1 Sept, efforts underway to reduce costs

Early registration for Hajj 2025 will begin on 1 September and continue till 30 November through both public and private channels.
The initial registration period will not be extended later, reads a press release of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The release also states that efforts are underway to made to reduce the general Hajj package price of 2025 compared to last year.
This year’s Hajj package price will be announced after the cost of the Saudi phase and air fare are determined.
Any previous or new pre-registered person can do initial registration by depositing Tk3 lakh. The remaining amount of the Hajj package must be paid within the time specified in the package.
The pre-registration fee for both public and private channels is Tk30,000.
For the year 2025, Saudi has allocated a quota of 127,198 people from Bangladesh. When this quota is filled, the initial registration process will automatically close.
