Joining Jamaat from other organisations will require senior leaders’ approval: Golam Parwar

Individuals wishing to join Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami from other organisations must first obtain permission from senior leaders of the party, Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar said yesterday (27 August).
In a statement sent to the media, Parwar said, “Recently, we have come to the notice that some people are joining Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami from various other organisations.
“The membership of those who have already joined will be suspended.”
He also said, “At this time, our main task is to play a role in the development of the law and order situation along with the reform of the country as well as rehabilitate the victims of the recent flood.”
