Looted arms, bullets recovered from kitchen in Satkhira

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have recovered arms, bullets looted from Satkhira police station on 5 August, the day of the fall of Awami League government.
A foreign pistol, two one-shooter guns, 23 rounds of bullets and debris of two bikes were recovered from the Sultanpur area of the town this (31 August) afternoon.
RAB also detained two people in connection with this incident.
The detainees are Farhad Hossain, 27, son of Abdul Majid Gazi of Sultanpur area and Mehedi Hasan, 21, son of Sheikh Shakhawat Hossain.
ASP Faisal Tanvir, commander of Satkhira RAB camp, said that these weapons and bullets were found buried in the kitchen of Farhad Hossain’s residence.
“Legal action will be taken against them,” he added.
