The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has sought access to the bank account details of former state minister for shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury.
In a letter sent to all banks and non-bank financial institutions today (1 September), the central bank’s intelligence unit sought information on all bank accounts held in the name Khalid.
The information must be submitted within five working days, states the letter seen by The Business Standard.
