Haseeb Aziz joins as CMP commissioner, Ahsan Habib Palash as DIG Ctg range

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Haseeb Aziz has joined as the new commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP).

Haseeb Aziz, will replace the outgoing CMP commissioner Saiful Islam.

Haseeb Aziz, an officer of Bangladesh Civil Services’ 15th batch, served as additional deputy DIG at CID’s Detective Training School.

Hailing from Shariatpur district, he performed duties as Additional Superintendent of Police of Chattogram District Police in 2002. His father M Azizul Haque was IGP of Bangladesh Police.

Meanwhile, Ahsan Habib Palash will join as deputy inspector general of police (DIG) Chattogram Range. He will replace outgoing DIG Nur-e-Alam Mina.

Ahsan Habib Palash has served as police superintendent of PBI. Later, he was promoted to the post of DIG recently.
