Son of former land minister arrested in Pabna with firearms, drugs

Shirhan Sharif Tamal, the son of a former land minister and a fugitive named in a case related to the attack on members of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, has been arrested in the Ishwardi area of Pabna.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-12 sources confirmed the matter. 

One foreign-made pistol, one magazine, four rounds of ammunition, 10 pieces of Yaba tablets, and a car were seized during his arrest, said RAB-12 sources.
