The Bangladesh Hindu Parishad has staged a demonstration in the capital’s Shahbagh demanding justice for the recent attacks on temples across the country, including Sutrapur.
Protesters started gathering at the Shahbagh intersection around 3pm today (13 September), urging the government to acknowledge the attacks on the minority Hindu community and take action to ensure their safety.

They also called for the swift arrest and punishment of those responsible for the attacks, as well as the immediate implementation of their eight-point demand submitted to the interim government earlier.
The key demands include an end to the ongoing violence against Hindus, which involves the destruction of temples, homes, and property, and the confiscation of land owned by the Hindu community.
