Police constable injured in knife attack in Jatrabari

A police constable of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) was seriously injured after a miscreant stabbed him with a knife in the capital’s Jatrabari area on Friday (13 September) night.
The injured police were identified as Ashraf, a constable of the Wari Traffic Division, Mohosin Hossain, inspector (investigation) at the Jatrabari Police Station.
The incident occurred while he was on duty at the Jatrabari area around 9:00pm, said the inspector.
“Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital,” he added.
