Tax Commissioner Ahsan Habib has been appointed as the director general (DG) of the National Board of Revenue’s (NBR) Central Intelligence Cell (CIC).
An order issued by NBR confirmed his appointment today (18 September).
Prior to this, the 15th BCS taxation cadre officer was serving as the commissioner of Income Tax Zone-15.
On the same day, two separate orders were issued, regarding the transfer of 49 commissioner rank officers at the field level.
