AL presidium member Kazi Zafarullah arrested

Police have arrested Awami League presidium member Kazi Zafarullah, who is accused in a murder case, from his Gulshan residence. 

He was arrested yesterday (18 September) night, confirmed Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media Wing Deputy Commissioner Talebur Rahman.

“Kazi Zafarullah felt ill after being taken to the DB office. Later he was admitted to the National Heart Foundation and Hospital. He is being treated there under police guard,” he added.

He said, there is a murder case against Kazi Zafarullah in Paltan police station.
