Two killed as motorcycle collides with bus in Bagerhat

Two people have died when their motorcycle rammed into a bus from behind in Bagerhat.
The accident happened around 9:30am today (18 August) in the Rajpat area of the district’s Mollahat upazila, said highway police officials.
The deceased have been identified as Amit Sarder, 24, and Md Liakat, sons of Raja Sarder from Mejher Gaola village of the upazila.
Mollahat’s Highway Police Station’s Officer-In-Charge Sheikh Nuruzzaman Chanu said, “The two were going to the Upazila Sadar on a motorcycle in the morning. At one point, the motorcycle lost control and collided with a bus from behind, leaving the two dead on the spot. The bodies have been recovered and brought to the Mollahat Highway Police Station.”
“The bodies will be handed over to their family after legal procedures,” the OC added.
