JU pro-VC, treasurer resigns | The Business Standard

Jahanginagar University Pro Vice-Chancellor (administration) Prof Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq and treasurer Prof Rasheda Akhter have resigned from their post citing personal reasons. 

They submitted their resignations to the President and Chancellor of the university Mohammed Shahabuddin today (19 August), confirmed by Deputy Registrar ABM Azizur Rahman.

He said both of them have resigned for personal reasons.  

Prof Monzurul Huq was appointed as the pro-vc of the university on 1 June 2021.  Before that, he served as the university’s treasurer while Prof Rasheda Akhter was appointed as the institution’s treasurer on 10 August 2021.
