Women’s T20 World Cup not happening in Bangladesh

The Women’s T20 World Cup was originally scheduled to be held in Bangladesh this October. However, due to the situation in Bangladesh, concerns arose about hosting the event there. The ICC began considering alternative venues and made preparations for a possible shift.

These concerns have now become a reality, as the ICC has decided to move the Women’s T20 World Cup from Bangladesh. The tournament will now be held in the United Arab Emirates. This decision was made during a virtual meeting of the International Cricket Council on Tuesday, as reported by the Indian cricket website Cricbuzz.
