A fire broke out on the eighth floor of a 12-storey residential building on road no 5 in Dhanmondi this morning (21 August).
The fire started at 10:25am, said Lima Khanam, a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.
Six units of fire service are working on bringing the blaze under control, she said.
The fire service evacuated three injured from the building.
