Sufficient water purification tablets, medical supplies, anti-venoms in flood-affected areas: Health ministry


The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has opened a flood control room (01759114488), keeping all health facilities in the country connected around the clock.

There are sufficient water purification tablets and necessary medical supplies, including oral rehydration salts, cholera saline, and anti-venoms, stocked in hospitals along with emergency medical teams, said the Health Ministry in a release this morning (23 August). 

The release said all leaves for health workers and officials in these areas have also been cancelled.
