Miraz’s 4-wicket haul has Tigers needing 30 runs for first-ever Test win against Pakistan

Mehidy Hasan Miraz led the way for Bangladesh with the ball as he took four wickets to have Pakistan all-out at 146 on Day 5 of the 1st Test in Rawalpindi.

That meant Bangladesh now need just 30 runs to win the Test and get their first-ever win in the longest format against Pakistan home or away.

This was Pakistan’s lowest-ever Test total against Bangladesh on a pitch that looked like a batters’ paradise.

Pakistan went with an all-seam attack without picking a spinner and missed a trick as Bangladeh’s spinners – Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan – took seven wickets between them.

Mohammad Rizwan was the lone warrior for Pakistan with the bat and the top scorer of the innings with 51 runs from 80 balls before being dismissed by Miraz.

Rizwan had a good Test with the bat as he was the top scorer in the first innings too with 171 runs.
