“It’s a very different thing to be in power and govern,” he said as Dhaka Metropolitan Police has imposed a ban on all forms of gatherings, including meetings, rallies, and processions, anywhere near Secretariat and the chief advisor’s office, state guest house Jamuna.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, on Monday said it’s easy to have no responsibility and criticise.
“It’s a very different thing to be in power and govern,” he said as Dhaka Metropolitan Police has imposed a ban on all forms of gatherings, including meetings, rallies, and processions, anywhere near Secretariat and the chief advisor’s office, state guest house Jamuna.
On his verified Facebook page, Joy said that the intellectuals criticised the AL government for banning protests around the Secretariat.
“Yet within two weeks this interim administration has had to ban all rallies there,” he said.
According to the notice issued by DMP on Sunday night, the restriction will take effect from Monday and continue until further notice.
