112 snakebite patients treated in Lakshmipur in 10 days

A total of 112 people have received treatment for snakebites in Lakshmipur in the last 10 days, according to the Civil Surgeon Office.
Among them, 80 people in Sadar Upazila, seven in Raipur, 14 in Ramganj and 11 in Kamalnagar have received treatment in different hospitals and returned to their houses.
“We have enough anti-venom vaccines to treat the patients,” Civil Surgeon of Lakshmipur Dr Ahammad Kabir said.
“A total of 112 patients so far received treatment during the ongoing floods,” he added.
He urged people to seek medical attention immediately if they are bitten by a snake.
