Ex-councilor Salimullah Solu arrested from Mohammadpur for murder

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Salimullah Solu, the former councillor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC)’s 29th ward, from the capital’s Mohammadpur area last night (1 September).

“He was arrested after an overnight drive for the murder of Mohammad Sujan at Basila during the student protest last month,” said ANM Imran Khan, assistant director (ASP) of the Legal and Media Wing of RAB.

A case was filed with Mohammadpur police station in this connection.
