Former IGPs Shahidul, Mamun arrested

Members of law enforcement agencies have detained former inspector generals of police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque and Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun.

Both of them were arrested from Dhaka yesterday (3 September), Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallick told The Business Standard.

They are both in DB custody, he added.
