Cenbank appoints 2 new deputy governors

The Bangladesh Bank has appointed its executive directors Md Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and Md Kabir Ahmed as deputy governors.

A notification issued by the finance ministry’s Financial Institutions Division confirmed the appointments.

The notification stated that they had been appointed on a contractual basis for a period of three years from the date of joining.
