Dhaka metro: MAN Siddique’s reappointment cancelled, Abdur Rauf new MD

MAN Siddique’s reappointment as the managing director of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has been cancelled. 

The matter was disclosed in a notification by the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges today (9 September). The order will be effective immediately.

Another office order announced Mohammad Abdur Rauf would replace MAN as the new managing director of the Dhaka metro.

He is the additional secretary and additional project director of Dhaka Mass Transit Development Project (Line-5).

Rauf will get the salary and allowances accrued in his current post.
